She sits where she's always been, stuck on a window ledge, watching a world she never gets to be a part of. The raindrops make a weird noise when they hit the window and splash, not unlike to the sound when a car hits someone and there's a splash. And then there's silence. At least, that's how she imagined it when she was younger. Her longing gaze is thrown upon the empty valley, she's lonely, but she's smiling.
She's stuck by the window, day by day
Waiting for him to come back this way
She listens to the noise of the rain
As the drops splash against the window pane
Her hands are shaking, she misses him so much
He is the reason she became out of touch
Made herself distant from the world outside
It's the fear of death that controls her mind
It's been a year now, under the same grey sky
She's still crying why did he have to die?
Possessed by fear, she never visited his grave
Trapped in this cage, tries to pretend it's safe
Her longing gaze is on her face
Lost faith, but never lost
